          (1)    When a student enrolls in a school, it is understood that he/she is enrolling for the entire school year.

          (2)    A student is deemed officially enrolled after he/she has submitted his/her appropriate admission or transfer credentials,                         has made an initial payment of his/her school fees, and has been accepted by the school, and has been authorized to                                 attend classes in the school.

          (3)    Tuition and School Fees.  A student who transfers or otherwise withdraws, in writing, within two weeks after the                                         beginning  of classes and who has already paid the pertinent tuition and other school fees  in full or for any length longer                       than one month may be charged ten percent (10%) of the total amount due for the term if he/she withdraws within the                           first week of classes, or twenty percent (20%) if within the second week of classes regardless of whether or not he/she has                     actually attended classes.  The student may be charged all the school fees in full if he/she withdraws anytime after the                             second week of classes.  However, if the transfer or withdrawal is due to a justifiable reason, the student shall be charged                       the pertinent fees only up to and including the last month of attendance.  (Sec. 66, Manual of Regulations for Private                               Schools 8th ed. 1992)

The release of the transfer credentials of any student may be withheld for reasons of suspension, expulsion or nonpayment of financial obligations or property responsibility of the student to the school.  The credentials shall be released as soon as his/her obligation shall have been settled or the penalty of suspension or expulsion has been lifted.  (Sec. 72, Manual of Regulations for Private Schools 8th ed. 1992)

PROMOTION

Promotion to the next grade level is possible only if the student satisfies all the academic, co-curricular and conduct grade requirements of the school for their respective grade level.  A year-end deliberation is held by a committee composed of the Principal and the subject teachers to discuss the status of every student based on his/her academic, co-curricular and conduct performance.

By the end of the school year, a pupil/student at the Beginning level is required to take summer classes.  Failure to attend remedial lessons during summer will mean that a pupil/student will have to enroll again for the subjects where he/she failed the previous year.  A pupil/student who fails in 3 subjects is required to repeat the curriculum year for enrichment and refresher purposes.  If a pupil/student has already repeated a curriculum year and incurs again a failure, he/she forfeits his/her place in the school.

PROBATION

Probation is a disciplinary measure short of dismissal/expulsion given to a student whose behavior or academic performances merit separation from the school.  Such status of students is decided upon by the school authorities.

1.       Scholastic Probation

          (1)    when a student merits a failing grade in any of his/her subjects  in any of the quarters even if the other subjects are passing.

          (2)    When a high school student, with a failure in one or two subjects took and passed summer classes and whose final conduct grade is 85% and above.

          (3)    When a high school student is allowed to repeat the year and whose Conduct grade is 85% and above.

2.       Conduct Probation – Students with repeated infractions of rules and regulations and/or have committed serious offenses against school rules and regulations.

3.       Students under conditional/probationary status should see the Principal together with his/her parents before enrollment in order to sign a promissory note on conditions for acceptance.  He/she is admitted under certain conditions for acceptance.  No student is accepted on a probationary status for the second time.

4.       Graduating students under probationary status may not be allowed to join the graduation rites if he/she incurs another failing mark in conduct or disciplinary sanction during the school year.  (Refer to Board of Discipline p. 26)

NON-READMISSION OF STUDENTS

Although it is clear that students have the right to be enrolled for the entire duration of their course, their re-admission may be legally denied in case of academic deficiency; violation of school rules and regulations; closure of a program or course of the school itself; failure to meet financial obligations; diseases or health reasons; irreconcilable differences between the school administration and officers/members of the PCG; a change of religion contrary to what the school propagates and membership in fraternities/sororities.
